Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege to coach Chamika a couple of years in Club Basketball. What's enshrined in my mind was her incredible character attributes of integrity, kindness, perseverance and strength. She impacted many in such a positive way.

I only met & spent time with Chameka on one occasion. Even in that limited amount of time I knew she was one of the greatest people I'd ever met. She was so positive, upbeat, encouraging and friendly. And she remained that way no matter what challenges were placed in her way. Literally nothing could bring her down. What a blessing to have met her. She is an inspiration to so many.

Chameka was an awesome friend. Always positive. She will be missed deeply.

Chameka challenged me to face my illness with endurance and hope, while maintaining a smile on my face and extending that challenge to othersall just by naturally being who she was called to be. I pray she now knows the impact she's made on everyone throughout her life and beyond.

Chameka and our daughter Britney Scott played summer basketball together some years ago. She was not only an excellent player on the court but off the court she was a role model that many wanted to pattern themselves after. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Chameka touched the minds and hearts of SO many people. Whether you knew her in passing or were a lifelong friend, she whenever failed to uplift and support those around her. There are no words that can properly describe her and only one that comes close. Angel.
