PATRICIA LOUISE ASHMORE BEISE JENSEN

Pat passed from this life on March 26, 2011, in her residence in North Branch, Minn., surrounded by her family

Patricia Louise Ashmore was born May 9, 1933, in Superior, to Leslie and Marvel Ashmore. Pat grew up in Hermantown, and graduated from high school there. She married her high school sweetheart, Earl Beise, in 1951. They made their home in Nickerson. Pat and Earl had four children.

They were members of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Moose Lake. Pat was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Ladies' Aid. Earl passed away in 1975.

Pat married Harold Jensen in 1980. With this union, five stepchildren became a part of Pat's family. Pat and Harold made their home on their farm in Askov.

They joined Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was a member of the quilting group there and also served on the funeral committee. She was an election judge for Partridge Township and enjoyed being a part of community events.

Pat loved her life as wife, mother, homemaker and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, knitting, gardening, canning and many other hobbies. She was always busy, but always had time for her family, friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Earl Beise and Harold Jensen; and her brother, Leslie Ashmore.

She is survived by her children and stepchildren, Susan Johnson (Erroll Clark), Shari and Denny Jensen, Mark (Jeanette) Beise, Dave (Melinda) Beise, LaVonne (Ray) Groth, Doreen (Kenny) Jensen, David (Tracy) Jensen, and Leland Jensen; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lois Graves, Carole Ramos and Doris Ashmore; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Kenneth and Gladys Beise, Phyllis Ashmore, Florence Langhorst, Clarice Beise, and Gladys Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service today, March 29, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Askov, with Pastor Henry French officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Lake.
