CWCapital Asset Management Marketing $2.12 Billion UPB of Real Estate and Commercial Mortgage Loan Assets in the U.S.

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CWCapital Asset Management, in its capacity as special servicer, is marketing $2.12 billion of predominantly cash-flowing real estate and commercial mortgage loan assets spread across the U.S.

These offerings present an opportunity to acquire diversified mortgage loans and real property assets representing trophy, core, core-plus and value-add strategic investments. The properties are located throughout the country, many in major markets such as New York City, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles/Orange County, Houston and Phoenix with the balance located in secondary and tertiary markets.

The assets securing the portfolio consist of nearly 4.7 million square feet of office properties, 3.5 million square feet of retail, 1.1 million square feet of industrial, 4,700 units of multi-family and 2,100 hotel rooms. Nearly 44% of the offering as a percentage of estimated value is secured by office, 21% is secured by retail and 20% is secured by multi-family. The remainder of the portfolio consists of mixed-use, hospitality and industrial assets.

Brokerage firms, including CBRE, Eastdil Secured, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Mission Capital, and Marcus & Millichap, are overseeing the marketing of 20 assets with an unpaid principal balance (UPB) of $1.38 billion. Additionally, 71 assets with a UPB of approximately $740 million are currently being marketed via Auction.com.
