What a safe, beautiful, carefully developed part of town. Awesome mountains, interesting restaurants, exercise paths, rivers, hotels and places one needs like Smith's and Ross.

The surrounding parks, Hog Wallow pub and Wasatch National Parks were highlights for me. Also, the patrons and workers at places we went to were friendly and helpful. A wonderful community.

Nothing but love from me for this are of Salt Lake County. I lived here as a kid, and still look back at the whole area with a lot of fond nostalgia. And I can still sing the school song from my elementary school here, apropos of nothing.

Cottonwood Heights officially goes from I-215 on the north side, down Union Park and across Creek Road, then picks up a little tail on the south side before pretty much encompassing everything on the bench to the east that abuts the mountains. There's a lot of swanky spots especially on the east neighborhoods, and in The Downs, and near the country club. But I didn't live in that part, I was in the much more normal area. We moved after only living there a few short years, but I missed the vibe.

These days, it's known for the swanky parts of town, but has also had a blossoming business scene. There's all the business along Highland and 7200, as well as that new massive development at 3200 E where the freeway bends.

I think the pin drop for this location is actually the city office, and I've not been inside there. But when I hang out at a friend's house here in Cottonwood Heights, or when I visit businesses, or see a biz with a Cottonwood Heights location, I can usually say it's probably going to be convenient to get to, and pretty nice. That's the most basic way to also describe the city.

Just came here for my early voting - they have elevators and easy access from Fort Union!
