Christina S. Slay

Christina Slay was admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana in October 2006.  She obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana in 2003.  She obtained a Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law, Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2006.  Christina has worked at the law firm of Bolen, Parker, Brenner, Lee & Miller, Ltd. since 2006 and was named partner in 2016. Christina is a member of the Alexandria Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and Crossroads-American Inn of Court of Alexandria-Pineville.  She is also a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.  Christina is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.  She attended the Building Trial Skills program through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy to further her trial skills.. Christina’s areas of practice include insurance defense in the areas of personal injury claims, first party bad faith claims, third party bad faith claims, coverage issues, homeowner’s liability, commercial liability, premises liability and duty to defend and indemnify issues.  Christina has also defended employers in workers’ compensation claims and represented creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.  Christina has represented individuals in personal injury, property damage, bad faith and workers’ compensation claims.. In 2012, Christina received a certificate of completion for the “Temporary Traffic Control in Highway Work Zones – Designing and Supervision” 16 hour course.  In the course, she learned of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.  This course helps her in defending employers or businesses engaged in roadway construction.. Christina has practiced before numerous Courts in the State of Louisiana, both City Courts and District Courts.  She has also practiced before the Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Louisiana Supreme Court and United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts.
