Mr. Bynum was born in Texas on Oct. 13, 1903 and passed away Friday afternoon in a Delano nursing home. He had lived in Taft for over 50 years. He was a resident pumper for Texaco and retired in 1960 after 32 years of service. Mr. Bynum was preceded in death by his wife Nona Bynum in December 1980. His survivors include a daughter Dolores Goodwin; a granddaughter; a grandson; a brother Earl Bynum; a sister Julie Teel; and a nephew.
