If you need a wonderful Orthopedic Surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Brendon Connolly. Dr. Connolly never made me feel rushed; he sat down and listened to what I had to say regarding my right knee and most of all he helped me. I was able to have my x-ray done right there in his office, which was such a convenience. His staff are very friendly, and skilled in making sure that the patients are very well taken care of. If you are in need of an orthopedic doctor/surgeon, I have great news for you. My husband and I met Dr. Connolly in 2018. I had a very painful and severely torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. My primary care doctor had diagnosed with an MRI and said I would be lucky to have 25 to 30% improvement in pain reduction and range of motion with surgery. Dr.Connolly took the time to sit with us and explain the surgical procredure and recovery process. Thru surgery and post surgical visits he was caring and attentive. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and I felt "heard" and "listened to", a rare thing in this day and age of doctors rushing patients in and out in. Because of his skill as a surgeon I am thrilled to report I have full range of motion and almost no pain in my shoulder. I must also comment on his staff. They are kind,friendly and skilled in making sure we patients are well taken care of and have all that we need for successful procedures. At his core Dr. Connolly is caring, compassionate, skilled at what he does with a desire to give his patients a better quality of life. If you need a great orthopedic surgeon I highly recommend Dr. Connolly. I put off my rotator cuff repair because everyone said it would be awful and take a long time to recover. I was back swimming laps after 31/2 months feeling great! A friend went with someone else a month before and had a very different experience. He also did a knee replacement which went very well ! He is direct, clear and progressive and most important gets you moving again asap!

I have had a total knee replacement and total hip replacement by Dr. Connolly. He took his time and listened to my problems and then explained the surgeries. They both went well. I completed the physical therapy after both as well. I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Connolly and would refer anyone to him that is experiencing pain.

To correct the disgruntled employees comment below, 1. Truelove isn’t a PA. He’s an APRN. He does not do the entire procedure, but he does close, as that is his job. 2. Dr Connolly hasn’t been kicked out of Blake. He prefers to bring cases to facilities with good staff and the equipment needed to perform his cases correctly. 3. His girlfriend doesn’t do the case. She is there to learn. That is what students do. You should invest your negative energy into something more productive. Dr Connolly is a great physician and has done a wonderful things for many people.

My appt was 230 but for whatever reason I had it in my head that it was for 11:00. The friendly accommodating staff did not turn me away. After a short wait, I had x-rays taken, and within minutes, was seen by Dr. Connolly. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I left the office feeling uplifted, encouraged, and satisfied. I highly recommend this practice.

Thanks to Dr Connolly and his staff. He took care of me, listened to me, and most of all, helped me. After months of pain, and lots of help from him, he did surgery, and I am recovering. Great bedside manner, he and his staff make me feel like family.

He did my hand surgery and I am very happy with the results. He is very professional, Great bed side manner, explains everything and will answer any questions you have. He does not rush through the exam or speaking with you. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

I went my appointment yesterday and I was late due to traffic. I tried calling for over an hour and all I got was the computer system and hitting different numbers still did not get a human being. So I get to the office and was told the Dr said no he couldn't see me. Well the staff member never talked to the Dr. So I will not be returning. I live Dr Connelly, he is a fantastic surgeon. I wish there was a way for me to contact him personally so I can let him know how well I'm doing thanks to him.... So like I said before staff lies but Dr is fantastic....

Had a bad shoulder problem that other orthos could not fix. He had me diagnosed In a few minutes and a full recovery in a few months without surgery. Very smart, Down to earth and communicates clearly. I highly recommend him. Best orthopedic surgeon in Sarasota.

Dr. Connelly used arthroscopic shoulder surgery to repair a hole in my rotator cuff. I could leave the hospital the same day. The pain was much less severe than anticipated (compared to hip replacement). After the recommended time of out-patient physical therapy and home exercises, I have regained full use of my arm.
