A native of Alabama, Bond is a former partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Spriggs & Hollingsworth, where he maintained a national and international practice in construction and procurement law. He later served J. A. Jones Construction first as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and then as President. He returned to the private practice of law last October when he joined Bradley Arant's main office in Birmingham.
A member of the Associated General Contractors' National Contractors Committee, Bond also serves on the board of directors of the American Arbitration Association and as a member of its National Panel of Arbitrators for complex cases.
