Loukans It took me 2-3 episodes to like the series and the characters. But that said, I really enjoyed this drama and comedy series Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review tom m I simply don't care for Jason Schwartzman. He plays the same idiot character in most of his roles. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Salvador S Great characters and unique atmosphere. This was an amazing show. One of my favorite in a long time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/14/20 Full Review Audience Member Hardly any laughs, but a decent tone, writing, and style. The characters are also great, and everyone's performances are great, and I love the score. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Quirky show; you get Schwartzman and Danson. Galidianakis actually works out his range here. It's a good little show about: a writer, or a detective, or a comic book artists, or a stoned businessmen; who knows its funny... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes, the series is a little bit slow to start, but even the first episodes are charming and well acted. The last two episodes have some of the funniest lines you'll ever hear anywhere, anytime, by anyone. So well written. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Michelle Dean Bitch Media I can more or less sum up what this series is about in less than fifteen words: Immature Novelist inexplicably masquerades as detective, pines after Responsible Woman. Dec 22, 2020 Full Review Courtney Reimer New York Magazine/Vulture Even if we're not exactly biting our nails to find out what happens with these three white dudes and their first-world relationship problems, the love letters to Brooklyn alone are worth the price of HBO. Jun 22, 2018 Full Review Barry Garron Hollywood Reporter The humor is so subdued and the stories so unsurprising that there is nothing to divert your attention from the fact that you're watching someone whose life is far less interesting than your own. Jun 22, 2018 Full Review TV Fanatic Staff TV Fanatic Has the ability to surprise us and so far nothing is of the norm - which is a pleasant eye-opener for television shows these days. Jun 22, 2018 Full Review Sandrine Sahakians TV Equals The thing is, if you're going to name a show Bored to Death, you better make sure that it doesn't actually bore people. Jun 22, 2018 Full Review Dan Owen What Culture It's a show that uses its first season to explore its own limitations, strengths and weaknesses, but doesn't really accomplish much over eight episodes.
