During my leisurely pack-up and departure from Blue Gables, I noticed that I was missing some bolts from my front fender! No hardware stores were open yet, so I checked on Yelp for motorcycle shops north in Sheridan and came up with Big Horn Power Sports. I found the location easily enough and had the undivided attention of the sole young man who worked there.
He noted that the remaining 2 of 4 bolts were also loose, scrounged up some bolts of the appropriate size, cleaned everything up, put loc-tite on it and charged me something like $5 for the fix. Had my front fender lost one more bolt it would have tangled up with my front tire and could have resulted in a painful accident!
While he was looking for the bolts, I had a chance to browse the shop - it's a pretty nice location - if you're in the area, pop in and check out what they have to offer!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Naveed K.Sheridan, WY01Jul 18, 2013
Never again, I brought my bike in to have the back tire re-trued and they do it, 2 weeks later they call me up and say its done. When I pick the bike up the kickstand is broke, not great considering they charged me around $280(RIP OFF) just to true it, so they offer to fix it and they did. But not 2 days after I have the bike The spokes started breaking I called the store and they say bring it in and they'll fix it free of charge. So I bring it in and and they said they'd have it out in a week or so. So I go home and 2 days later they called and said they couldn't cover the cost of spokes, because they thought I wrecked it because of the broken clutch perch, which happened because my brother took it off of the pedestal and forgot the kick stand was gone and dropped the bike breaking the perch. So they charge me for it, I say no problem because I just want the bike back, so they keep it for 3 weeks and I have to call them to see whats going on. So James answers and I ask him and he said it was in the shop that day and they were doing it right then. and it would be done that day, so I call them around 5 hours later and a very rude guy I've never talked to before answers and says he'll check, he told me they weren't going to get to it today because of the other machines in front of it..
What?
I called him out on it, and said that I had just been told it was being done that morning, and he got tongue tied and just told me it is what it is, and said I'm welcome to pick up the bike anytime, I just told him that I didn't wait 3 weeks for nothing . So I asked to speak to James, the nicest guy in the world by the way, And this dude very rudely says he was busy and there was nothing that could be done. Never had I been so angry or frustrated with a shop in my whole life. And I'm not one that's easily irritated. So I asked when it would be done and he said as soon as possible. I still have yet to get the bike.
Overall I will never go here again because of the over pricing and the terrible service. I would try the Honda bike shop on the other end of town if I were you to avoid this experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mark J.Sheridan, WY01Jan 5, 2014
I love this place, they went out of their way to help me with all my last minute Christmas needs. Even did an upgrade to overnight shipping to the store to make sure my items were here. Didn't charge a thing, just said Merry Christmas! Just don't see that customer service anymore!
