For 100 years, Bard Manufacturing Company has been a family owned and operated company, leading the HVAC industry in light commercial, educational, and telecommunications markets. Nestled in the rural northwest corner of Ohio, where Dale Bard founded the company in 1914, we service our customers both nation-wide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.

This is a company - a family - that believes in supporting and investing in its facilities, people, and community. When you walk in the door at Bard Manufacturing, you’re always greeted by a friendly face. The lobby is clean and professional looking, and pictures of all three facilities proudly adorn the walls for all to see. As you walk down the hallway, you’ll see that the walls are filled with awards and plaques from groups such as United Way, American Cancer Society, Black Swamp Safety Council, Healthy Ohio Business Council, as well as numerous other awards from suppliers and distributors. Up the stairs to the executive offices is a fully equipped kitchen where you’ll normally find some kind of homemade treat that someone has brought in to share with the rest of the 80 employees in the corporate office. This is a company that cares about its people and its community, and it shows. The average tenure in the plant is 26 years, and in the corporate office is 14 years. With company benefits such as free YMCA memberships for employees, a generous 401k, profit sharing, 12 paid holidays per year, and tuition reimbursement, its no wonder employees stay. People are treated with dignity and respect, just as they were when Dale Bard founded the company in 1914.

Operator in Bryan, OH

Started out at a great place to work, but changes in management and policies have turned it into a dump. Pay is decent but safety guys are on a power trip. Overall morale is on a steady decline, gets harder and harder everyday to go into work.

This is a great company to work for all they ask is that you show up and work the 10 hour shift they are paying you for. Pay could be better to keep up with inflation but other than that it’s a steady job with more pros than cons

Network Administrator in Bryan, OH

The majority of this company is made up of terrific professionals who are a joy to work with. Unfortunately there are a small few individuals there who are a cancer to the organization. Despite management understanding this fully, they do nothing about it, and worse, they fully support the bad eggs because they have been there for so long.
