2003 BMW 745Li Vin# XXXXX...

2003 BMW 745Li Vin# XXXXX I had a code: 5EAD (Present) Wheel speed sensor L/F, I purchased a new sensor from BMW, 34 52 6 758 289, (Gray Connector) Installed it and got this code: 5F17 (Present) Wheel Speed sensor L/F Wrong Type. I checked with my scanner "Autel Maxidas" and looked at both front wheel speed sensors No MPH on the left front?? I swapped the sensor from R/F to L/F and got the same code for both front wheels 5F17 for the L/F and the same code for the R/F, I called BMW, and they thought possible the car had sport suspension and gave me a 34 52 6 771 708 (Blue connector) I installed, swapped one back into the R/F (The original one) and installed the new one with a different colored connector into the L/F and have the same code 5F17 for the L/F....AGHHHH. My question is why did the "new sensor" show a dead sensor in the R/F and now with either Blue or Gray Connector is it showing "Wrong Type" installed? Is there a failure point in the car's harness to check? and again, The L/f Is dead "No MPH" with either sensor. When the R/F shows correct once the original was re-installed? (Gray Connector)
