Pros
Rewarding job that makes you feel like part of a team
Cons
The pay could be better when you’re in danger

Pros
It's a challenging and unique environment that requires thinking beyond what you learn in either the private, public, or even non-profit sector.
Cons
There are some challenges working for the state, and in particular this unique environment can occasionally be frustrating. But with the right people negotiating with the right people, things always seem to work out.

Pros
State job. But this is also a con.
Cons
ACI pretends like it’s separate from Arizona Department of corrections but in reality it is ran by ADC. ACI is just an income maker for ADC. A for profit company making millions off inmate labor. Pay is bad. Hours are bad. In and out of prisons everyday.

Pros
You wont have to do much work to get by, management generally speaking has no idea whats going on in any other part of the state so feel free to kind of do what you want when you want. Everyone has the state mentality which includes apathetic behavior and no little to no proactive nature regarding the company so if you really want to just squeeze by and collect a check this would be the place to go. And hey you get state health benefits for doing nothing after 3 months so thats a bonus.
Cons
The continuous infighting among even the upper management to make no positive decision for the company provides hours of amusement. There is no clear direction on where the company wants to go, with the exception of their extended plan which is a shoddy group of goals seemingly thrown together by someone with the economics skills of a college freshmen. Even when accounting for a regular 3% inflation it is possible to reach such low goals over such an extended period of time. They are so disorganized as it pertains to the excessive waste, lost time during manufacturing, sales rejects due to lack of communication. The pay is garbage, its like they dont quite understand why they are failing in many areas.
