Dr. Anthony R Mork, MD

I had lower back surgery 23 years ago where I was fused. It was a terrible experience and the pain did not go away until years later when I used other methods to get rid of it. A few months ago my hands and arms began to hurt and go numb. I had and MRI that showed severe stenosis in two cervical vertebrae. I knew I wanted a very good endoscopic surgeon, but really didn't even know if one existed in the Untied States. I searched for several weeks through the regular doctor channels, but couldn't find one that I really felt comfortable with. Then I found Dr. Mork on an internet search. I watched all of his videos and read the reviews. I contacted Shannon, his extremely qualified assistant and a nurse who sent me a link for the MRI written and electronic copy. Within 4 days my wife and I had a phone consult with Dr. Mork who went thoroughly over my MRI with us. We were both very excited about getting my back taken care of without fusion. I was so impressed that I had my son contact Dr. Mork and we both had surgery a day apart in Mission Viejo, CA. Within 3 days I was able to stop taking all pain medication and have been pain free ever since. I'm 78 years old so it is still a major surgery and it has taken time to recover, but I haven't had any pain issues to deal with. Dr. Mork is truly a gifted surgeon and a really caring and good person. He saw us every day at the hotel after the surgery and have had communication with him or Shannon over the following weeks. They are very special people.

It has been over three years I was operated by Dr. Mork for multiple problems at multiple levels caused by degenerative disc disease and injuries. Stenosis and other bone and disc problems I had at those multiple levels had pretty much incapacitated me. Since then, my quality of life has greatly improved. Dr. Tony Mork did not do any surgery on me. He was however the only doctor who found the problem in my arm and I was able to avoid neck surgery because of that. I had previously gone to a different surgeon who said I absolutely need neck surgery and that I would likely end up paralyzed if I did not have it. I went to a Neurologist I trust and she recommended I get a second opinion. My brother had a coworker who had surgery by Dr. Mork ten years ago and said he was extremely happy with his help, so I thought I would give him a try. I am so glad I did! I would have ended up with a hip surgery to take a piece of bone out, and then have it put in my neck, and the pain in my arm would not have been fixed. This guy is worth his weight in GOLD! How refreshing to have a medical professional be a professional!

I've been having pain on my waist, right side of hip and down my hamstring. I tried Inversion table, stretching and eased off playing softball with no change in pain. After Dr. Tony Mork reviewed my MRI throughly and answered all my concerns, I schedule endoscopic surgery with him. After sending my recent scans to Dr. Tony Mork, I was very pleased to have his valuable and accurate diagnosis regarding my lumbar spine issues. The conservative surgical recommendation he gave to me was greatly appreciated. His interest to study my spine scans in serious detail was remarkable.

At every turn in the process of what turned out a five hour surgery, Dr Mork consistently explained what would happen and encouraged me to ask about any and all of my concerns. Dr. Mork performed surgery on me in 2003, in Florida. It was the best outcome one could hope for. Being 74, I mow my yard, do all household chores and work part time! Thanks a million, Dr. Mork.

Dr. Mork is wonderful. I had sciatica for several months and my toes were numb for 6 months. After my surgery in 2007, I only had post surgical pain with no sciatica the night after my surgery. I was able to ride in a car from Florida to Northeast Texas 1 or 2 days after my surgery with no difficulty. In 2015, an MRI was sent to Dr. Mork concerning my back again and he promptly called me and discussed the report. He did not sugar coat anything but told me his professional opinon with straight forward language that I could understand. He even suggested that I not have surgery now but to contact him if symptoms worsen. That shows me he is not just interested in doing more surgeries to obtain more revenue. The only doctor I want operating on my back is Dr. Mork.

I had spine surgery with Dr. Mork and it was a major success! After being in pain for over 1.5 years... Dr. Mork fixed the problem and I live pain free!

Dr Mork operated on my 90 year old Mother at MicroSpine in Defuniac Springs FL. She was was in so much pain she could barely walk at the time. She has been pain free since the surgery and is now 97 !!

Dr. Mork has performed two procedures on my lower back. L4-L5 Left side in Sept 2006 and L4-L5 Right side in Dec 2014. He is very compassionate and concerned about your situation, in my case unbearable leg pain due to stenosis and pinched nerve. Spends ample time before surgery explaining the condition and procedure that he would be performing using models and your MRI report. Most surprisingly, he made house call to my hotel day after surgery to check on me. Spent almost hour and a half with me and my wife. Followed up with post op phone calls to check on my progress. Gave access to his personal phone which he actually answers! Highly recommend Dr. Mork for any spinal procedure. He will be very honest and upfront if he cannot help your situation. Unlike other surgeons that I have consulted who is just interested in performing major surgery without any regards to end results. Than you Dr. Mork!

I had a wonderful experience, Dr.Mork explained everything clearly where I could understand, I had so much trouble walking and getting out of a chair due to having spinal stenosis. I am now pain free and can walk without a cane or walker.

Dr. Mork identified my lower back problem correctly, when other doctors had not, because he really listened to me. That's what I love about Dr. Mork, he takes the time to really listen to what you're saying. I knew in my heart of hearts that Dr. Mork had the right diagnosis for my lumbar problem. Right away I was about 80% better after surgery. Now 18 months post surgery, I'm nearly 100%! I can actually bend down and tie my shoes without all the pain and stiffness... thank you Dr. Mork!
