            Pros

Base salary is enough to live on, with potential for commissions based on your copy's performance, usually $1/FE sale and 1% of BE deals, with the numbers increasing once you reach a certain threshold. Training and opportunities for you copy to shine are top-notch.

            Cons

I felt there wasn't enough covered in the training about the logistics of a promotion specifically at the company (working with editorial, legal, production, etc.)

                  Pros

AF, which I believe has now changed its name to dodge the negative association of all the complaints from customers and the FCC lawsuit, was at the time I was there a highly sought after place to learn copywriting. There are some excellent people to learn from, although I don't know how many of them are still around. I hear there was an exodus of key people after some layoffs occurred in 2021.

                  Cons

Hardcore bro culture. This place is so heavily male dominated I wouldn't recommend it for a female.

Cool office buildings Able to do your own thing without micromanagement.

                      Cons

You’ll hear a lot of talk that the FTC judgement is what killed the company. That is partially true. The real seeds of destruction were sown when company hire-ups decided to take an extremely successful company and split it into three different imprints for no reason. Letting copywriters instead of actual businesspeople run those imprints was a massive disaster.

I got offered and accepted a role with a local government agency. And just like my luck, I received an invitation to interview from a Federal Agency( role I really want). So i pushed back my start date so that I could be available for the interview. My question is, if offered the role 🤞🏾, after I start the first role, would i need to give a full notice even it’s only been a week of orientation? I certainly don’t want to burn bridges. So what would you guys do. I’ll wait🧐🤔😂

Hi everyone, I have an Apple Interview this week for a QE role. I have been asked to prepare a presentation for the interview. Is there any sample ppt that I can refer to? what are the best practices to prepare for Apple panel round? Thank you in advance for all the help

Can any hiring managers give me advice on "Do you have any questions" I've had many interviews for Customer Service and Administrative positions and ask questions throughout the interview. Yet, at the end of the interview they always ask " Do you have any questions" I don't understand what else they why they are asking me this if I asked questions about the positions. I never ask about benefits, and had many go over them with me on the interview.
