Horrible Environment

Managers are not professional and you always get yelled at by TSA, managers and Passengers. No raise and no respect whatsoever. Worst place I ever worked

Good starter job but not great long term

If you're looking to start getting into sales then it's a good place to start but after a while you start to see a heavy lack of consistency within both the team and the service.

Extreme micromanagement Beware!

I only stayed with the company for six months. It was very overwhelming. They micromanage the heck out of you, so my anxiety will be to the roof. There were tons of changes between seasons, which may work more difficult than easy. I’d say stay away from clear remote work from home if you do not like tons of impossible phone and chat expectations. You will be warned and the. Fired if you are not getting enough surveys, or ending chat’s quickly enough (You are required to work 3 chats at a time even if it’s busy) . The training was rushed and did not inform you on half the stuff you will deal with on the daily basis. My team lead was a huge jerk and contradicted everything I learned in training. If you desperate go for it otherwise STAND CLEAR FROM CLEAR AS A CUSTOMER AS WELL!

I enjoyed the company, but enrollments are more important than the people traveling using the service. I would return if there was better support system and pay

Dont walk away, run away asap

This was one of the worst places I have ever worked for. All management and the company cares about is the customer and getting more of them. They dont care about their employees, they believe that the employees are expendable and can most definitely be replaced. It's not worth the time or the mediocre pay you get. Most definitely not worth your mental and physical health especially since you deal with entitled customers all day and not to mention the managers let the role go to their heads.

Controversial

It really is an easy job, they give you all the tools to succeed and all they ask in return is to follow simple rules. The days go by quickly when it’s busy which is nice. The hours are a little weird though, AM shift it 3:45am to Noon, and PM shift is 10:30am to 6:30pm. The reason this job is only 2-3 stars is because it reminds of me high school drama. The ambassadors do whatever they want with very little to no consequence from upper management. The senior ambassadors express the issues and wrong behavior to the managers and they just put it back on the SAs to “coach them and make them better”. That’s hard to do with no support from management and with ambassadors that have zero work ethic and zero desire to get better or listen.

Clear Work Experience

This job is very straight forward. The first part is checking members in using their biometric system and the second is selling the product to new clients. You will meet new people everyday and build bonds as a team to get the work done. Such stakeholders like TSA and airport staff will make you adapt to your surroundings. This job will definitely allow you the opportunity to step out of your shell, help you build your speaking skills, and help you gain confidence as you will speak to strangers on a daily basis. It will provide you a fast pace environment that will help you build your attention to small details. The only downfall I can see is that you will have to be on your feet all day with 1 lunch break and 1 to short breaks depending on staffing so make sure you have comfortable shoes.

Terrible management

Management constantly picks favorites and seniority in terms of advancement means nothing. They constantly belittle those that work hard and reward those that sit there and gossip with them at AUS. If you want to work at AUS save yourself the stress and dont.

Pretty chill job. Simple rules. As long as you know how to talk to people you will get your enrollments. It’s not hard work. Literally just have to make sure to follow all procedures.

Ambassors are fun to be around

I feel like my honest review with clear is that should finish management it could be a lot better, better staffing, better employees it could really be a good compromise

Professional and Uplifting

Great place to work, with great people and plenty of work/life balance. It can be a very fast pace environment with lots of security measures or it can be a slow environment with lots of downtime. Overall an A+

Clear review

The airport is an interesting place to work. Clear is different from any other job ive worked. I worked at clear for 6 months in the pm. I had a really great manager, he was the best. I had some really great coworkers too.

Overall , clear is a great company you can grow with your ambassadors, managers are okay..you get could benefits you are able to sale and make commission.. it’s overall a good company to work in

Clear ambassador

The job is super easy anyone can do it yes it’s standing for 8 hours but like any other job where you stand the same I have came from working with an airline and this is definitely a chill place to work. Some people complain but I guess it’s because it’s their first job. It’s great that we get paid hourly and commissions if you really want money then just work on your sales it’s really not hard unless you are timid and shy . Ambassadors that are top sellers get up to 3000 to 5000 in commissions so it’s a pretty easy good job if you ask me. Yes there is place to grow if you do your job good and have skills you will move up.

The rush when it gets busy but that’s it only 2 hours most of the time

Easy job, but have to deal with drama

If you’re starting off in the workforce, this is the perfect job. There is opportunity for uncapped commission, but it’s heavily taxed. Favoritism to the top performers. Unhealthy work/life balance.

Stagnant growth

No possibility of becoming management by promotion internally, you must come from outside the company to be promoted higher than a senior ambassador. They do not promote higher than a senior ambassador if you’re working with the company.

Pros

Sometimes provide lunch/snacks, holidays are 1.5x

Cons

One 15 min break and only 30 min lunch
