My 12 bills from 2023 were sent to a collection agency to begin with because they incorrectly had in their records that I had secondary insurance. Those claims all had to be resubmitted. On 1/30/24 I paid ******** ********** ****** the full amount for the 12 bills, $2,100.48. They then paid Summit Health. Still, after repeated calls to billing and patient relations, which went unanswered or never returned, my payment has not been posted on Summit Health patient portal. More than 2 months has passed since I paid. Those bills all state “sent to collections”. Today I went to *** ****** Ave,in New Providence, which is the billing center address. The only person there, a receptionist who gives people their medical records, gave me the phone number for Summit Health legal dept. When I called I got a message stating “thank you for calling SH Urgi Care”. All billing department employees work from home, I was told by the receptionist Lisa. No one at all is in an office to speak with. Patient relations was called by me many times also. Messages were left, with no calls back. Two calls I did get rang one and two times, then hung up. When I asked billing to speak to a supervisor, I was told they were busy on other calls. I want to know where my money is, and why Summit Health refuses to pay my bills with my money! Looking at reviews online, everyone loves their doctors… but almost all had issues with billing. Please help!
