Community Service Divisions of St John Ambulance include Medical First Response (MFR) & Youth Division, Therapy Dog Program and Search and Rescue Niagara (SARN). MFR provides First Aid to the public at various events on request and subject to availability. Therapy Dogs are available for friendly visits in the Niagara Falls Community. SARN provides trained volunteers to assist NRP and OPP when someone in the regional community is lost or missing.

Transportation Program - Provides transportation for older adults and people over 18 years of age with disabilities who are unable to drive or travel with conventional transit services for medical appointments, social and educational outings. Transportation available in all 12 local municipalities within Niagara. Long distance travel also possible for medical appointments in Hamilton or Toronto. Drivers use a combination of cars, vans and accessible buses to provide transportation. Phone to register for service or to schedule transportation. Help Desk for Indigenous Leadership - Provides information and referrals on:
- Planning for Health Emergencies such as guidance and training on how to protect your community.
- Health Guidance such as hand-washing, physical distancing and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).
- Community Wellness and Protection such as online information for children and youth, suggestions for family activities while physical distancing, and Psychological First Aid.
Friendly Calls Program - matches people over the age of 18 with trained Red Cross personnel who connect with them regularly to check in, provide emotional support, and suggest well-being resources and community connections to other existing services. Call 1-833-979-9779 between 9 am-5 pm weekdays for more information and to register.
