BSOD: 10016, 6062, and 6155 Errors

Hi,

My computer has been freezing and then progressing to BSOD for the past three weeks since I updated Windows 11. I noticed Event IDs 10016, 6062, and 6155 warnings all around the time of the issues. After reading several posts, updating network adapter drivers, and running a clean install, I still have the issue.

I can't seem to attach the minidump file from today's crash so please use the following link.

Below are the specs:

Device name Legion

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz

Installed RAM 80.0 GB (79.7 GB usable)

Product ID 00325-81920-75181-AAOEM

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Below is the Window specifications:

Version 22H2

Installed on ‎10/‎14/‎2023

OS build 22621.2428

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22674.1000.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

The minidump file points to "ACPI.sys". One of the ACPI devices might be the one causing the issue but we need further analysis.

Can you share other minidump files that you have?

Thanks.

Also, I just performed a clean install and downgraded from Windows 11 to 10. It hasn't helped at all. Below are links to the minidump from yesterday and today.

The most recent minidump files indicated the file "nvlddmkm.sys". This file is related to the NVidia graphics card.

Please try the following.

1. Install the latest Windows updates.

2. Update or Rollback the NVidia driver in the Device Manager.
Open Device Manager >> click Display Adapters >> right- click your NVidia driver >> click Update Driver.
If the system says that you have the latest driver installed. Try to Roll back the driver. Right-click your NVidia driver >> click Properties >> click Driver tab >> click Roll back driver.

3. Use the NVidia Geforce Experience Software to update the driver.

4. Clean uninstall the currently installed NVidia driver using DDU then download and install the available driver from the PC manufacturer's/NVidia support website.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

Hi Paul,

I think that fixed my problem. Thank you so much!

I used steps 1, 3, and 4 since it seemed like 4 was the most intensive option. DDU was helpful and I watched a few videos on how it is used. I really appreciate it!

I'll keep you posted if the issue isn't solved but no problems for several days now, instead of crashing every hour.

Hi Paul,

It looks like the problem wasn't fixed. I just received the BSOD with the DPC Watchdog message and the event viewer shows two Event 10016. Here is a link to the minidump from a few minutes ago. Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance for your help!
