Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedDon't work here don't call for anything. Can't even get a call back. It's been almost a month still no call back. They are not very reliable. Want you to work your rear off but only pay you little. I learned no matter what you do for the company, they sure want to nothing for you. Best part of working there is leaving at the end of the day.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Everything

The managers are amazing and they are easy to talk to. They are always willing to help get the job do more efficiently. They don’t expect you do anymore than the job you are hired to do. Great place to work

Lies!! Poor pay and terrible management
Driving installer (Former Employee) - Henderson, KY - February 8, 2024
Pay is way below minimum wage. Never made anywhere near what was promised. New managers do not care about employees nor families. Managers are only out for himself. Calls are not returned when placed to the office. Do not waste your time here
Pros
No pros! Definitely worst job
Cons
Poor pay, terrible benefits, lies, and dishonest greedy current manager

Terrible
Technician (Current Employee) - San Antonio, TX - January 17, 2024
Terrible job. Hard word bad pay. Managers suck. There’s a lot of favoritism there. I’ve worked there 3 years no insurance benefits. The work is not consistent.

Run away as fast as you can
Insulation Installer (Former Employee) - Bessemer, AL - December 29, 2023
Probably the worst place I’ve ever worked. Terrible, toxic work environment. No regard for employee safety or codes. Managers of local branch all the way up the corporate chain have zero regard and no respect for their employees. It doesn’t even deserve a one star. 31-w will ruin your mental health. Training is very minimal. Corporate managers are manipulative and predatory.

Disloyal and greedy
Garage Door Technician (Current Employee) - Bowling Green, KY - November 13, 2023
They will bring people in off the street and put them ahead of employees that have been there for multiple years. They lie and tell you what you want to hear just to do the opposite, the expect 110% but only want to pay for 50%. Wouldn’t recommend

Think twice
Insulation Installer (Former Employee) - Trotwood, OH - September 26, 2023
it's unfortunate because if you're physically fit enough to do the job, then you can make great money. With that said, they have too much ability to take or manipulate how much you actually make. Your paperwork might say you make one thing, but they could easily take some of that from you and you won't find out until you're paid.

Best insulation company I have worked for.
Installer (Current Employee) - Jacksonville, FL - August 26, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Laid back environment and everyone is easy to get along with. The material is also loaded for you, so you can show up to work, get loaded, and head to the jobsite. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Typical fast paced, piece rate job. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The work environment is very laid back and friendly. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Show up at the shop at 7, warehouse guy loads you up, and you head to the jobsite.

Treat u like ur stupid for mistakes
Installer (Former Employee) - Millersville, TN - August 18, 2023
Don’t get me wrong I learned a lot like how not to manage and treat ur employees some people were great but the guy I talk to the most acts better than u and is always saying snobbish remarks for mistakes u make starting out would not recommend to me enemies the most enjoyable part of the job was being free of management when you left the warehouse
Pros
Freedom to work how u see fit
Cons
Bad instructions on what to do and when to do it by

I was afraid for my life every day I worked
Installation Technician (Former Employee) - Cookeville, TN - June 13, 2023
I worked here a few months and after I got put on tickets they stopped paying me. I would ask about it and he said I didn't work enough hrs to get paid for ticket money and the other workers whom I worked with daily were paid for them but I wasn't. They had the exact same hrs as me. But I didn't get paid. They act like they are going to do so much for you and make it sound so good like your going to get your own truck and crew and never asked for any of it. But they kept telling me I was about to be making a lot of money but they kept every dime. I got my hourly wage but the other workers always wanted to leave before lunch so we never had more than 20 hrs or so.
Pros
None
Cons
They won't pay you and tell you what you want to hear to get all the work they can out of you.

Have a second job
Installation Technician (Current Employee) - 4511 Bristol Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601 - June 2, 2023
The work environment is great but the pay sucks about 60% of the time. When they don't have jobs you'll clean the shop or just go home. The worst thing about working there is having a job and no money.

You can make money if you work like you're going to die. if you don't work you starve. Good luck.
Installer (Former Employee) - Wake County, NC - May 15, 2023
Labor intensive, minimal pay, job SQ ft always wrong compared to what gets installed. Management ignores you like you don't exist. Hurry up is all you will hear. Promise high dollar amounts and pay never matches what is said. Not a single person in management or higher up cares about being helpful to installers. No one ever has any answers to questions, especially about the jobs or the pay of the jobs. They're alright to work for, just don't plan on having extra money beyond your bills. Lot of work to do as a whole.
Pros
It's work
Cons
Itchy, emotionally and physically draining

Work hard make good money
Installer (Current Employee) - Guthrie, KY - January 12, 2023
Flexible hours and you get the amount of money for the work you put in. I like it cause no one is breathing down my back all day watching me work. I get my work for the day, load up, and then it’s on me how fast I get done. Depending on your history of how much work you get done the more/ work you get. So you pretty much make as much or as little as you want. It’s on you and have no one to blame but yourself of you aren’t making good money.

Not worse place to work
Installer (Former Employee) - Cookeville, TN - December 7, 2022
Store manager was good and understanding. Piece rate pay the more you get done the more you get paid. Not great advancement opportunities. Some builders make things difficult. Not a terrible place to be if you don’t mind just going out and working
