Google - Pixel 3 XL 64GB (Verizon)

Let me say that I've had a Samsung since the first Galaxy phone released and figured I'd never look back. I upgraded from the Galaxy Note 4, after owning since launch date and swore I'd keep that phone until it literally stopped working. I didn't want to let go of the removable battery, IR blaster and microSD card. I almost bought the new S10+ or Note 9, however the early reviews of the S10 said that the picture quality still wasn't beating the Pixel, even with all of the cameras. If you are a camera junkie, this phone not disappoint. The night side mode takes stunning pictures that you'd need a DSLR on a tripod to take otherwise. I average about two days on a charge and. The notch does not bug me, in fact I didn't even notice it after 20 minutes of use. I find zero limitation with the 4gb of RAM, however I am not a power user. The headphones that come with this phone rank up with my Bose in ear headphones. Also, the data transfer cable was legit, it moved about 60gb of data from my Note within 13 minutes. Lastly, I love the Android UI on this and the Google photos. Very happy! I'll upload two unedited photos I've taken.

It was time for me to upgrade my Samsung S5 but I really couldn't bring myself to spend over $25 a month payment. But, then I got the best deal on Black Friday $400 off it's regular price... And $20 a month. Besides being lucky with the price this phone is awesome. It took me a while to get used to it functions though it is simple. The camera is really really outstanding! I thought maybe the screen size would be too big being the XL but it is very nice and not bulky at all. And the battery life... Let's just say I don't need to charge it in the middle of the day!

Best Buy was excellent and reshipped to me no hassle a replacement Pixel 3 XL using via next day air. After 4 days the screen malfunctioned and had a vertical magenta line on the screen. Minus one star for only getting 4 days out of the pixel 3 before a hardware failure. Best Buy sent me a prepaid return label for the first phone. Not sure if everyone gets a reship like that no-hassle for similar product issues; was it because it was inside the normal return exchange window or was it was because I'm a my Best Buy elite plus member? Regardless please with that replacement experience. (As of this writing I'm at day 11 with the replacement and all is still good. fingers crossed) Took advantage of the black friday deal and paid using the Verizon Device Payments to get the discounted pricing. After paying the first device payment to Verizon the "Pay off device" option enabled a few days later and I paid off the remaining balance successfully to be out from under the no longer under contract for the device. So Verizon Device Payments are kosher for me since they have the escape early payoff option. The pixel 3 supports 5W Qi wireless charging but doesn't support 10W Qi wireless charging. The Pixel 3 only supports "Google's 10W proprietary wireless charging technology." and only chargers vetted through google's "Made for Google" program get fast charging. The "Made for Google" Google Pixel Stand Wireless Charger is priced at the very healthy price of $79! They seem to finally be getting in stock now but $79 is a lot of coin for a wireless charger. Was it really that hard to support the already existing and widely available wireless fast charging (not invented by Google) ? I'd like to subtract half a star for that since Google proprietary stuffs since crippleware is a pet peeve of mine. But since I can't subtract a half star I'll round up so we're still at 4 stars. So it's mostly the build quality longevity issue with the screen that's the concern for me but only time will tell. With the black friday pricing I'm mostly happy so far the value is there. There are lots of new features that I still have not gotten into the habit of fully utilizing. If the phone still has no hardware problems after a couple of years I would add back the star I subtracted.

I love this phone! I discover new capabilities on it all the time. But my favorite feature is the camera. The night sight feature is especially nice. With absolutely no flash, this camera can take a picture that makes it look lit within the surrounding area. The Google Assistant is also a great help through each day.

The best Google pixel so far.It also supports that wireless charger from Google. It also has a better battery life for a day to use and The camera Of course is getting better as well

I jumped from the iPhone with hesitation and I'm so glad I did. I've shared photos I've taken on this phone and so many people have asked what camera I use because of how great the pictures look. I even had a friend tell me that this phone's camera is going to put professional photographers out of business when she saw the stunning pictures I've taken.

Bought this phone the day it came out and have lived it ever since! I use it for photos and for captruing footage for music videos. I will attach what examples I can below. The day after purchase I got a text saying it was fully unlocked and could be used on any service which I thought was cool as I did not buy the unlocked version. It's easy to use if you know Android and is as good or better than iPhone in my opinion

Switched from the iPhone to the pixel 3 so far it’s been a great decision. Main reason is the camera and all the feautures it has to offer. Blown away
