Maple Grove, Minn. — CIT Relay & Switch now offers the WJ115F series relays with 40-amp contacts. Meeting UL873 and UL508 spacing requirements, the small, lightweight relays are available in three versions — PC termination, combination PC and quick connect (QC) terminations for contacts, and QC terminations for coil and contacts.
Featuring low coil power consumption, the WJ115F series offers dielectric strength coil to contact of 4000 Vrms. All three models — WJ115F1, WJ115F2 and WJ115F3 — provide heavy contact load, strong shock and vibration resistance, and several coil voltage choices ranging from 3 Vdc to 110 Vdc or 12 Vac to 277 Vac. Electrical life is rated at 200,000 cycles. They are available in contact arrangements of single pole/single throw (SPST) normally open (NO), SPST normally closed (NC) or single pole/double throw (SPDT).
Load connections may be made on the WJ115F2 and WJ115F3 styles with QC terminals that have recessed wells to accept insulated ¼-in. female QC terminals.
The series is immersion cleanable with the cover. Other options include low profile and no cover versions. Standard, environmentally friendly (no cadmium) contacts are AgSnO2 with AgSnO2In2O3 as an option for high inrush current applications. UL Class F insulation system is standard for all three WJ115F styles.
Applications include computer and computer peripherals, telecommunications, security, test equipment, instrumentation, RV, medical equipment, air conditioner, automotive, heating and ventilation, home appliance, motor control, and other industrial applications.
